well my 90 is back on the road again and it feels great driving it again. of course there are some minor adjustments that have to be done. i put new gaskets on the car and the windows are having a bit of trouble going up. door panel had a few issues to deal with and were corrected and now its a matter of fine tuning.

now that the bulk of the 90 work is done i turned my attention to the 75 and had window issues with it since i bought it. i took out the window, tracks and regulator and what a mess i found. the tracks had so much dried grease that it is a miracle they even worked at all.

i scraped and cleaned all the dried grease out and replaced all the guide rollers. will be using a light grease as manual suggests and reinstalling everything. windows should work like a charm when i get done.

anyone doing any interesting projects on their cars?

Just finished a engine upgrade (new cam, rollers, 1.6 RR's, valve springs, plugs, belt, water pump, dyno tune). Next up is a new rear (sitting in my garage) swap to a 3.54.  Gotta hold off for a bit, recovering from  knee surgery and still a little tender moving around.
Or I could just be getting old.  LOL
Did get my hands on a fiberglass top, just got it painted, so I'm good to go for this year.
For the rest of the year, it's just polish, wax and beer time. And Carlisle.

Its also getting 1.6 RRs, 58mm TB, LT headers, highflow cats, electric water pump, delphi 37# injectors, and vented opti conversion done as it goes back together. Still need to send the computer to pcmforless for a tune hopefully it will be on the road again within the next month or 2 I've been dying to drive it with the nice weather Cry

I'm getting ready to do a 4+3 to T-5 swap in our '87. I hope to get everything together in the next few weeks and get it in the shop for the magic to take place.....

I have a new cam to put in.  I've been hoping to put it in while installing the Renegade, but that's not quite ready yet. Also gotta do something about my leaky rack & pinion.

I'm hoping to get my 85 on the road for an upcoming show.  I replaced all the gaskets, and now am having issues with windows going up and down and with the door closings. Also, the mirrors move down, but not up or in and out.

that is a problem i am having with my windows too. replaced all the gaskets when we painted the car. just latched the doors for the first week and then started closing them. the rear window stayed up about four inches the first day and the next day it was down about an 1". the third day we started closing it.

my windows are having a bit of trouble going up and we will be working on them this week. if you need any questions answered or find out an easy way to adjust them let us know.

as far as the mirrors, did this problem just start? maybe the contacts in the plug or switch are dirty. maybe even the switch is bad. are both mirrors having problems?

The miss is still there after replacing the plug wires. Significant corrosion was found on two of the wires were they plugged into the ignition system. The corrrosion had also spread to the Opti-Spark module. Nothing else showed up on the engine diagnostics, so....it looks like I am going to have to replace the dreaded Opti-Spark ignition module....OUCH!

Did get the passenger's seat in the '74 fixed this weekend.
