This connection is hanging undernearth & behind the bumper in front of the radiator.  Any ideas what it should be connected to & it's purpose?

Hard to do this without you mentioning the year of the car, but your screenname info says 1988.

If its an 88, and you have MANUAL A/C controls, that connector is for the external air temp sensor used with C68 electronic control A/C. ( I looked up the wire color for the temp sensor in my 88 Helms manual, so I didn't just guess).  If you DO have C68, there should be a Code 7 for external temp sensor in the A/C controller.

How'd I do?
