I agree! LS engines have tons of potential..all aluminum and the best SBC heads the general ever produced IMO. It's because of the cyl. heads that as I read somewhere" You can look at a LS cross eyed and gain 100 hp" However as "jimmymack" stated i don't think you'll be increasing your C4s value...just your personal enjoyment while driving.
Many owners have stroked the original L98 or LT1/4 and made 500-600 rwhp so big numbers are doable.
450 crank hp is VERY doable with a 383 stroker.
