PCM's pretty much NEVER fail. IF they do, it's pretty cut and dried that the PCM was indeed the problem.
I'm familiar with "the place in Texas". What did the place in Texas say
the second and third time it came back to them? "No problem found?" If
so, there most likely isn't anything wrong with the PCM. The Dealer
misdiagnosed it.
What are your symptoms? What else has been done, modified, and tried as a remedy?
As far as a suggestion, if you really think your PCM is still at fault, find another car / member to swap your PCM into and see if HIS car then has the 'problem' yours does. I always substitute the 'bad' PCM into the 'good' car. That way if there's a condition in the 'bad' car that damaged the PCM, the 'good' PCM isn't damaged as well. A 'bad' PCM can't damage the car.
And just a WAG: Optispark been addressed? If it had an MSD opti installed as a "cure' it may not be.
