I have had my '93 Anniversary Edition for about two years. Completely trouble free, even race now and then at area race tracks. Runs strong, only has 65,000 miles on her. Never a problem of any kind what so ever. About ten days ago, I was going to work, the engine cranked, started, then died, cranked, started, then died, cranked, started, then died......you get the idea. Replaced the fuel pump, replaced the distributor......same result. Injectors are getting fuel, getting a signal, sparkplugs are getting power........anyone else run into this problem?................

Crank started and died sound like fuel to me. You missed the fuel filter in your replacement list. Could be leaking just enough to start the motor before it chokes. Pressure gauge would be the quickest check but it's not hard to pull the filter if you can get her up a little. I'm betting you can't even blow through it and you should be able to easily. Hopefully...

I am too wondering if the fuel filter was changed and he just didn't mention it.

My filter is on the inside of the frame rail, passenger side, behind front wheel.

When you say going to work do you mean you got in the car and it wouldn't start,or do you mean it cut out as you were driving?
When you say it starts, and dies does it die as soon as you disengage the starter,or does it run for a little while afterwards?
The reason I'm asking is that it may be the ignition switch is losing contact in run position, but not in start position(I know its grabbing at straws).I assume that when you say the plugs fire that you just had someone crank it over while you watched for spark...This is also grabbing at straws, and may not even apply to cars nowdays, but most used to have a ballast resistor,or resistance wire that cut down ignition voltage after initial start up...Good luck

my 1989 did the SAME thing after checking continuity of the WHITE wire from the dist to the computer, my only other option with NO trouble code, was to replace the computer with a rebuilt one..which solved everything and only cost $125.
