So how are your 1996s holding up???
Mine just has 18k original miles. My only
issue is that the air conditioning only blows
through the bottom vents.

I put a battery in mine over the weekend. Went for a sunshine drive and got use of the MagnaFlows. Jim

Mine had some issues when I first got it-----but all is "good" now. This week I'm driving it to work for the first time in a while---which is a very relaxing/pleasant experience. With all the recent snow I'd almost forgotten how true that is..........

I got brake work to do....not because it needs it, but because its upgrades I have been having stashed. Just hard to do it when the weather is nice part of the week, but a majority of the week is rainy and cold...so...I just drive. I asked myself: "Who needs brakes when the other pedal is on the floor?"

Vette(s): I have a 1996 Collector Edition coupe with the LT4 engine. Looks and runs like new with 24000 miles on it. 203 coupes were imported to Canada for 1996 and only 83 of them had the Z15 option. Don't know how many of those had the LT4 engine.

Mmmmm, holding up great!! I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in it and hearing the engine just rumbling. Sounds like a cat ready to get out and stretch its legs and that can't be soon enough, maybe tomorrow!!!
Have a sneaky feeling I'm in the market for a battery because after being on charge for 2 days it only shows 11.7 volts when I'm ready to start up. It starts well enough but the voltage should be around 12.5-13.5 volts for a good battery. Of course, I haven't any idea how old the battery is but it isn't a big deal and I can do that myself easy enough.

I'm considering a Comp Yellow or a Collector's Edition for my next Vette. I drove a Polo Green LT1 coupe back in the day.
