Hello Everyone,
I’ve just completed my car and now have it on the road.
However, I have a major drone issue. The problem occurs between 1300 and 1800 rpm in all gears. You cannot even think, converse or hear the radio.

I have a Melrose header and exhaust system xpipe with Borla mufflers. 1.75 Primary, 3” Collectors, 3” x Pipe, 3” high flow cats, to 2 ½ Borla 11376 Mufflers.

I can’t afford to change the mufflers, so …… What would you recommend ?

I am considering this Car Chemistry insert?

I’m not really concerned about losing small amounts of horsepower. The car has plenty of power!!

Thanks again!!

Put it on and lose the drone.

A little FYI ---
unless the engine and drivetrain is built, the exhaust system doesn't really build/increase HP.

On stock/mostly stock motors:
It will however increase torque by a small margin, that most people feel via. "seat of the pants" and equate that feeling to building HP.
(that's basic info without writing a novel to cover everything)

A couple of things that may help, but not cure: make sure the tailpipes extend beyond the bumper and instal some sound deadening material in the cargo area. It made mine more livable.
