Well I am in a little trouble and need a little help, if you have dealt with this issue before. The Bolt in the middle of the Pulley that is on the Harmonic Balancer has broke off. Is that Bolt going to be a pain to try and drill and extrude out? Or is there an easier way to fix this issue? 1985 383 Lingenfelter built Engine. Thanks!

Yes....
I am guessing the motor is out already?...if not you should pull it.
Take the time to make some drilling dies so you drill straight.

good luck

Found a Mechanic to come out and look at it, Motor is still in and I'm hoping it will remain in. Its one of those things, worth too much to let it go cheap and you want to fix it because it is worth fixing! I'm working overtime as we speak lol

...if you are lucky, and the bolt broke short close to the head. Once you pull the damper, there may be enough bolt sticking out of the crank to grab onto. At any rate, the shank should not be in too tight since the tension comes from holding the hub against the crank. With the bolt head gone, it might be finger tight. Because it's a Lingenfelter, they might have put some "Lock-tite" on the threads which is going to make it tougher but some heat will help.
Biggest problem will be getting stuff out of the way to work on it. You might need to undo the motor mounts and lift the front of the engine. Been there....
