where can I find a list for GM part numbers. I need a list to source out all the front pieces to my son's 86. It was damaged in an accident. No damage to frame, but hood and all things forward and  left and down to the nose is wasted. His first car, he turns 18 in a few months. He's had the car now for 2 and a half years, and drove it for a year and a half. Its been down now for a year and its time to fix. My corvette go to, says he needs part numbers so we can gather all the parts at his shop, he has the parts, I need the part numbers/ list. Any help is most appreciated.

I would suggest gmpartsdirect.com or a similar site.  The part numbers will show up, but availability might be a problem.
Good luck.

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad to hear the old girls getting a face lift shall we say.. Getting to the point though I’m sure you’re not gonna be able to get new OEM parts which means you guys might want to try eBay for a starts.. If you don’t find what you’re looking for there’ then there’s quite a few vette parts companies with tons of reproduction parts.. If you google corvette parts you’ll see what I mean.. Best of luck guys

You’re not going to be able to find new, OEM parts for that car. You have SEVERAL options. One is to go to CorvetteForum.com and go to the C4 section. There are people parting out cars all the time. Another option is to find someone who specializes in salvaging C4s, such as Mark Uptmor in Waco (China Spring), TX 254-315-5269. I’ve bought C4 parts from him several times. Depending on where you are, you may be able to find someone similar to Mark, closer to you.
