I'm happy to help.
I responded to a craigslist ad he posted for a hardtop. Unfortunately it wouldnt fit over my roll bar, so I didnt buy it. Then he showed me some other Corvette parts, including 2 sets of wheels. One set was American Racing wheels, which he had used for a year. In nice shape. The other set is unused CE (or ZR1) wheels. All 4 wheels are 9-1/2" wide, to the best of my knowledge. I'm 99% certain that they are original GM, since he had the GM lug nuts, silver plastic caps and the center caps with GM logos on them. BUT i advise you to get him to identify them by reading off any part numbers off the back of the wheels. You could ask him to take pictures and send them to you, but he is getting on in years (i.e. technologically challenged) and may not be able to do that. When I was at his house i took some pictures, which I'm enclosing. The pix of the American wheels are so that you can make sure he is talking about the unmounted A-Mold wheels.
UPDATE- The C4 Vette Registry won't let me attach pictures. Please send me an email at paul.vale@gmail.com, and I'll finish this email and send you the pictures via gmail.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Paul Vale
