The August car is not a 40th Anniversary, just a '93 Corvette.  Disappointed that a C4 site wouldn't know the difference.

The owner of the car asked it to be described as it is in the calendar.

The description of the car in the calendar does not say it is a "40th Anniversary Edition". It simply says "40th Anniversary" which was 1993. So, while the description could be misinterpreted, it isn't incorrect. 

Furthermore, there is a 40th Anniversary badge on the side:
