I am new to the "Corvette" and now the weather here in the North East is getting Spring like (78 degrees F) I took my C4 (LT1) out for a trip for dinner. My Engine temperature was approximately 208F at highway speeds and 217F or so around town...got a bit concerned. Everything I read talks about these vehicles running hotter than other vehicles for emission purposes. Can anyone tell me what temperatures I can look for and feel comfortable with. This all being new to me and I do love my Corvette I just want to be on the safe comfortable side. Side bar, when I got home I checked under the hood and there were no signs of overheating. No warning lights on. Just a bit concerened! I am sure you corvette veterans can provide me some helpful infomation.
