I have been searching for the longest and I have been unable to locate a 1985, 1986, or 1987 (white exterior with red interior) corvette coupe in 1:18, 1:24, or 1:6. Yes, I search ebay daily. The nearest match is a Black Exterior, but I just don't think I would do a good job on repainting. Does anyone have any ideas on where I might find one? Thanks.
P.S. I prefer the 1985 but the others are pretty close.

I dont know where to find your die-cast car, but I did move this topic here to hopefully give it more attention.

Vette(s): 1985 Coupe-L98/Auto,Bright Red/Carmine.
1974 Coupe-L48/4speed, Medium Red Metallic/Black Deluxe.
I have a Die Cast collection of over 2000 Corvettes, of every scale you could think of. The only 1/18th scale white C4s are '95-'96 models, and one of those is the '95 Pace Car, which is a convertible. One is the "Last C4"(grey interior), and one is a white convertible w/tan interior.
I do have some small scale white C4s in the '85-'88 range, but they aren't exactly the best quality in the world...
There are a couple of white Promo cars, but those are also later models('92-'93).
White, 1/18th scale C4s are pretty much non-existent, other than the ones I mentioned. You can dis-assemble the car and repaint, but then you would need to source some decals for the front and rear emblems, which you may find in a plastic model kit, or maybe a good hobby shop.
btw..the pics I have(above) are over 2 years old...the collection is much larger now...

I went to a meet in thousand oaks, cal. a month ago and found a white on. I have an 84 vette and have it working well and have given it to my daughter who lives in Hayden, Idaho. She will get it....later...so i bought the model for 10 dollars and went home and took it apart. it was really easy to do and painted it black and put it back together and will give it to her tomorrow in place of the real thing. After driving it for the next week I may have a hard time getting it back. So. go ahead and paint any one you can find...obrian
