New to your site as this is my first corvette. Bought it from a customer in December. Her husband died a few years back and best we can figure it last ran about ten years ago.  So it's been four months and I've been patient, doing things right the first time.  At this point, the engine starts and runs smoothly but I have no digital display... at all.  Fuses are good but have found changing the station on the radio blows that fuse.  The lady I got it from believes everything was working except something in the drivers door.  The husband had the door panel off, everything disconnected and nothing seems to work in that door. The door and radio issues I'll address later. With this said, I'm about to take the dash apart to pull the display which seems like the next logical step to me.  My question is......  am I missing something? I'm not thrilled working on something that someone else was already tinkering with and can't help but wonder if he might have disconnected something.  Would appreciate any thoughts.

You may want to check out www.Batee.com about your problem.  They have all kinds of solutions to check out and they are good at responding to questions about the instrumentation for the C4's including repair kits you may be able to use in your garage.  It is a great service to C4 electronics.

bate.com is the place to go. I had the same problem. web site has a diagnosis page, and if that does not work he can service the digital cluster. watch a you tube video for removal. its easy but there is lots of old plastic that has to be unscrewed and removed to gain access.

I noticed a lot of topics in forums don't have the solution so wanted to post mine. I went on Bantee and followed the suggested troubleshooting and couldn't find a problem. I put it be together and decided to send it in for repair but since I didn't find a problem, hooked it back up to try it again. It worked perfectly but soon failed again. I took it back out, disassembled it and used contact cleaner on every connector and bulb on the cluster and also cleaned the wire harness connector in the car. The connectors didnt look dirty enough to cause an issue but really happy I decided to test it before sending it in. With this new found wisdom, I clean every contact and connector I that I take apart. Hope this helps someone.
