What exactly is it that is not correct? The wrong info showing, or does the display appear to have some elements that are not working? Sometimes, the flip-switch for the particular display can get messed up, and not work all the time. I have found, on my '85, that flipping the switch back/forth will sometimes bring the reading up properly.
If there are elements of the display that are not showing/lighting up, the LCD display panel is bad, and nothing you can do but replace it.
Other than that, you need to check all of the connections on the back of the panel, and make sure everything is connected nice and tight.
