My passenger door switch, you know the one on the jamb. It had broken off so it wasn't working. Luckily there were no lost parts. I removed the door panel and unbolted the remains from the door.
I super glued it back together being careful not to get any glue on the plunger. I coated the plunger with a little WD-40 then glued it back together. Because of the spring my fingers were quite sore after holding it together for about 2 minutes.
I put it all back together and everything works again. Interior lights, rear hatch switch.
I spent zero on the repair. Now time will tell how log it will last.
I just love cheap! LOL
If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....

Shoot. Well, at least it was a learning experience. Too bad you can't use duct tape. I hear that works on everything

I think I'm going to have to fix it again. Absolutely nobody has the switch. Discontinued everywhere.

Anyone have a parts car? 90-96 that would like to sell me one or two?
I found one on ebay today and bought it. Absolutely not produced anymore. There are Corvette salvage yards that do have them. Quoted price $20 each used. I'll be saving the broken one. :)
