My interior lights don't come on when my doors are open.
My interior lights do work with the over ride switch on the headlights
I know my switches work because I get door ajar when running or the security light flashes when the doors are open

The door switches operate the timer module for the interior lights. The module may be bad, unplugged, or the connector(s) has some corrosion. The lights should come on when you open the door, and stay on for about 30 seconds or so after you close the door. I don't have a diagram handy, but I can get it tomorrow if someone else doesn't chime in before then...
Not sure if the '95 system would use a separate fuse for the timer...have you by chance checked all of the fuses?

Unfortunately, the interior lights are controlled by the CCM/BCM(Central Control Module/Body Control Module).
This thing is buried behind the radio in the dash, and takes for-EVER to get out/in. btdt.
You could try to pull any codes out of it, and that might help to diagnose the problem. Ground terminal 12 in the ALDC connector under the dash, and turn the key on. The dash display(Info display) will show any codes. If there are any codes, post them here, and I can send you(or post here) the diagnostic routine...
