Seems that the fob battery keeps dying on me after 2 to 3 weeks of use.
Is it that the fob does  "not turn off" after inactivity?

Any ideas on how to check that?

This fob is new.

Thanks
C.

Vette(s): 89 white bik top blk int.auto.
If some of the functions work on your key fob,you need to check the key fob battery voltage then get your key fob programmed.you may have damaged the terminals on the key fob..

The functions are fine but only for a couple weeks.

The voltage is just over 3 volts for that time and drops to 2.5volts after 2 weeks use.

These fobs are 2 years old (from GM) with limited use and not dropped.
