Hey there, C4 Registrants...

I started what I thought would be a super-simple job (to remove the ECM in my '91), but two hours later I'm still fighting over it!  I have removed all of the visible screws around the case, but it still won't pull loose from the bottom of the mounting bracket, and I cannot figure out why.  Is it "glued" on?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Also, once the unit is out, what's the best way to remove the cover to access the PROM chip?  I want to have it reprogrammed, and unless I an get to it, I'm "SOL" as they say.

Thanks a million!

on my 90 all i have to do is remove the three screws and unplug everything and comes right out. don't forget to disconnect battery first. after you get it out there are 4 7mm nut screws that you remove and cover should open and prom is right inside. don't think 90 is different.
