Local GM dealer can look it up, and get it. It may be in stock. Depends on how large the dealer is.

Not sure what you're asking about. There are intake gaskets that seal the intake to the heads, and there is a gasket on the thermostat housing. Then we also have water pump gaskets, as well as the throttle body gasket(coolant runs thru the throttle body).
ALL of these gaskets are available at any parts house. Don't know why you would be having a problem locating any of them...

Thanks for the suggestions! I apologize for the delay in responding. I had been helping care for a brother in hospice, who has since passed away, along with my ongoing care of my mom in a nursing home, both of whom are 150 miles away from my home. So, I received an entire set of gaskets for my Vette from Partsology.com.
My question, before bringing the necessary gaskets to my repair shop, is: Regarding the coolant leak, would it be wise to replace all gaskets related to the coolant system, as they are all 29 years old. I had been told that the gasket needing to be replaced is the coolant intake one.
Should I have the water pump gasket, thermostat housing gasket, and throttle body gasket replaced as well?
-Thank you!

All of us are sorry to hear about your difficulties.
Your mechanic should be able to advise you on the best plan for your gasket questions. Normally, only the offending gasket would need to be replaced, but it may be necessary to replace other gaskets in order to do a good job on getting to the bad gasket. When you start replacing good parts, where do you stop? You wouldn't replace your headlights just because a tail light burned out!
