If you have a lower temp. on the anolog gauge i would say you have a bad temp. sensor for the digital gauge. Take a temp. reading at both sensors, if you get the same reading at both sensors, i would say you have a bad digital tempature gauge. GOOD LUCK.
No I don't think so. Both sensors are in the same sensor body. I replaced it. The digital indication lowered about 5 or 10 degrees but the two are still far apart. LT1 oil is said to run quite hot. I believe the 220 digital indication not the 160 analog. How can I calibrate to analog gauge.

Then get a third reading if you have doubts.
Use an infared gun on different locations on the block if need be.
