Has the distributer been out of the engine? maybe the timing chain or chains are off a couple of a tooth or more.I would find top dead center on #1 cylinder pull th cap and make sure it is pointing the plug wire for #1 cylinder. if it is and you are addjusting the timing and it is not functioning have you unplugged the wire for setting top dead center that they refer too in the manual, if it is and notta your timing cain or chainges need to be changed or checked. yhe timing can be very touching just take your time and be paitient and you should find the issue, Happy Vetting and if you have any questions just wessage me and I can go into more detail with you till you understand every aspect of how it works in your car. i have book and more books about the subject and i can point you to some very helpful utube stuff.
I bought it when it ran fine but nn engine would then I saw that the distributor smolato wax and setting it a little shot well but I had no air filrto pa I put a hand in front of the airflow meter giormo then after struggling to dimuovo dave pertire 2giri bursting wrong, then went out I tried to adjust divuovo always the same then flash back to me rott start the motor and a tooth I'll fly and 2 changed all the gear I also changed the distributor replacing it because it was consumed as then removed from that moment and then tries to match starting but nno and the stench of gasoline may also be some sensor?

fabio075 is from Italy, so ya'll give the feller a break on his English typing!
fabio, from what I can understand, it sounds like you may have a large vacuum leak somewhere that is keeping the engine from starting now. Putting your hand over the MAF sensor would help, and that's why it tries to run like that. Look for a vacuum hose that is broken, damaged, or loose somewhere on the engine.

The oil pressure switch sends a redundant signal to the fuel pump relay. It should not cause a "no start", unless there is a problem with the "normal" relay signal from the ECM. A lot of times, if there is a problem with the "normal" signal for the relay, you have to crank on the engine for a while to get oil pressure before it will start.
You said you smelled fuel, so it sounds like the fuel pump is working.
Do you have any way to get the trouble codes, and see if it is setting any codes?

Did the "no start" occur on it's own ?? Or did you replace the distributor and then it wouldn't start? In a previous post you mention "gears".....did you also replace the timing chain and gears? I'm trying to figure out when the no start occured....before or after some type of engine work.
