Early last year I replaced my 4-ACDelco ignition coils with Accel.  The reason I went with Accel's instead of the Delco's is that the car had around 15k ms. and that's way too early for coils to crap-out, so I wasn't gonna replace 'em with the same ones.  I wanted to go with a brand I could trust and count on.  Long story short, I'll never purchase another Accel product or anything from Prestolite Performance.  When first installed, the car ran accordingly.  BUT, a year and 1500 ms. later and one coil crapped out.  I sent an e-mail to their "tech question and answer" dept. a week ago and have yet to hear anything.  They claim that they'll answer all questions on a first-come first-serve basis.  So I can only summize that they have many problem questions to answer to.  What I'm gonna eventually do is replace those coils with another brand.  Does anyone have a favorite that can be relied on?

Thanks in advance

seems unusual for a coil to go that fast but maybe with separate coils it's possible. i was always told to stick with the brand the engine was made with. just an opinion.
