MAF connector hose gone bad

Lately,I've been working a new air filter box to improve on the restrictive OEM set-up. Couple of years ago I had installed the smooth tapers to replace the accordion OEM but while working on it, I moved the throttle body sideways, and the one behind the throttle body is already badly cracked. Kind of annoying because they weren't cheap. Anybody else tried them?

bought one from corvette america two month's ago and it seems ok it was a little salty but it is pretty thick. had a hard time getting it on my MAF sensor but I will keep an eye on it.
