noob ? My new vet is a 89 opti ?

Vette(s): 1989 white coupe , auto , just always wanted a vette so finally....
I dunno if I have the opti or a distributor engine , Ill seriously  appreciate help in this matter .....oh ya  its  not as simple as going to the garage  its  still  in storage in Ohio for a  while yet , Im attempting to  post  pix of  my  engine , Im not comp  literate in this  so  bear with  me   TIA   Tool
 
Hmm wont post rats any other ways I can find  which type of ignition I have ?

'92-'96 were LTX engines which used the 'opti" distributor.....your '89 is the L98 engine which uses the HEI distributor/ignition.
