Part identification

I've done a lot of work on my engine, ported out most of what can be ported, replaced the cam shaft, ported out the heads, etc etc. At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I've got the part above and I'm not 100% certain where it goes. I'm thinking on drivers side just below the sparkplugs, but since I've also replaced the headers, I can't be certain. Does anyone know what this is?

Looks like the line for the power brake booster. Metal fitting end should go into the rear of the intake manifold, rubber end to the pb check valve on the booster.

That is where I thought the rubber part attached to, but I wasn't sure where the metal fitting went. Thanks! I'll try that out.

Now I'll have to figure out what goes into the threaded hole in the middle of the block just under the spark plug holes on the passenger side.

Knock sensor, most likely. Just ahead of the end of the starter.

My bad, its on the drivers side! Knock sensor is ok on my car, although there is a similar wire to this one on the drivers side. Is there some other sensor a little higher up just under the headers on the drivers side?

Coolant temp sensor would be in the head itself, not in the block. There are some threaded holes in the block towards the top, but those are for heat shield retainers. I can't think of anything else that would mount that high up on the block. Depending on the wire color(s), and the connector shape, the only wiring I can think of in that area would be the wiring for the oil pressure sensor, and the O2 sensor. What color is the wiring, and can you get a pic of the connector?

I'll take a pic of the wiring tonight, but the connector is missing! they're threaded holes on both sides of the block basically in between the spark plug holes. Could they've been open before I took everything apart? Wouldn't coolant or oil come out of those holes?

If you are referring to these two threaded holes, these are for the spark plug heat shields.

Yours is a different year but isn't that the exhaust supply tube to the EGR? Isn't there a tapping on the manifolds?
