I have a 1986 Coupe. I am considering getting a Vortex Rammer Cold Air system. Does anyone in the group have any advice/ experience with this. Is this something that you would recomend?  I use car as a driver ( except winter time).  Thanks

I put one on my 88 last year, wasn't a big big deal to install. I saw a slight improvement in performance but it seems like my MPG went down 1 to 2 mpg.

I have a shop working on engine ( remove clean up plenum/ remove valve covers powder coat etc) as I can not work on car . I also needed new air intake housing and cover so I decided to go this route. Guy at shop stated he thought mpg would go up. If I get an improvement I will not be able to fully attribute to rammer. Thanks for the info MDMC4!

I had the SLP cold air induction set up on my 94 and haven't had any issues with it
