You can see some more photos of this Corvette under my registry. I purchased this car last year from a 'used car lot'(the kind cars go to just before the junkyard). I paid $2000 for it. This Corvette has had a hard life. The car wouldn't run when I got it. I got the motor running only to find out the transmission wouldn't shift out of 1st gear when driving forward. Once I got all that working I found a leaky heater core and had to dismantle the interior.
I could go on for a few more paragraphs, but I'll say this instead. I've got it running, driving, and stopping. Here's a list of what I've done:
Engine:
Replaced wires and stuff in the distributor(have a new coil to put on too);
Retimed motor. After a lot of troubleshooting I finally discovered that a previous owner had shifted the spark-plug wires 1 position, followed by jamming the distributor as far clockwise as they could in an attempt to make it run! I fixed that. I've also had to rebuild the throttle body. Once I got it running I discovered that most of the vacuum lines/emissions valves/solenoids were disconnected. I've managed to put everything back together, but I'm not certain I've got all the little valves and solenoids working yet.
Replaced cruise-control; replaced upper alternator mount, repaired lower; replaced all three power-steering hoses, replaced drive belt; replaced heater core, rebuilt heater control valve.
Transmission:
replaced the transmission governer assembly. This was causing ALL of the issues in the transmission.
Exterior:
replaced the missing hood strut. I'm in the process of repairing the battery-cover bolt holes(fiberglass repair). I also replaced the windshield wipers and confirmed that system works.
Interior:
cleaned...CLEANED. THEN CLEANED MORE. Many of the plastic pieces were badly broken. I've repaired as many as I can, and everything fits in place. After replacing the heater core, gauges, information center, radio, and several other dash parts that were broken or missing I reassembled the interior. Due to a previous owner cutting the radio harness I don't have the radio working yet, but I did find a correct radio for this model year.
The gauges now work, but I think the backlight bulbs are burnt out. The heater/defrost/air-conditioner all work, though the fan is a bit weak. I cleaned all the vent-tubes and lubricated/repaired all the plenums/cables/vacuum fittings while the dash was disassembled.
I removed the seats to clean, and discovered all the support wires underneath were rusted/broken. I spent a few days with a spool of steel wire re-stringing all of the wires, and the seats now feel like seats instead of bean-bags.
I replaced door lock, hatchback release, mirror adjust, and window control switches in both doors.
Several interior trim pieces were broken or missing. I've fixed and/or replaced most, although the scars still show.
What the car needs:
Idle needs to be adjusted. Right now it is around 1600rpm.
There is a small leak where the transmission cooler lines connect to the radiator.
I get some clunking when at speed/cruise-I think the driveshaft u-joint may need replacing.
Exhaust needs work. It currently has Hedman headers, and there are several spots where the pipes are rusted through. I have a complete set of exhaust manifolds with accessory piping to return the exhaust to stock; this would necessitate new downpipes in addition to exhaust repairs.
The left headlight shroud catches on the hood when the lights are turned on. I need to refasten the shroud to the headlight assembly so it will clear.
The hood was cut by a previous owner. The workmanship was very good, but spoiled the hood. I was considering getting a full-length 'riser' that I've confirmed will cover them all. This would cost around $450 to purchase.
All the door/window seals need to be replaced.
The driver's window doesn't go up or down well. I was going to purchase a complete window assembly for $150 and replace it.
This is the transmission governer I removed.
This is the condition of the dash/interior after I started getting all the broken stuff out; gauges, information center, heater core, disconnected ventilation tubes, broken switches, etc.
Well there you have it. I've done quite a bit, but it has a ways to go. The only thing keeping it from being a daily driver is the idle. I have it listed on the "Columbus, Georgia" Craigslist for $2500. I wanted to offer it here in case a fellow Corvette enthusiast thinks they can finish what I started.
I have and can take photos if anyone wants to see more. Feel free to contact me at steelmaus@gmail.com.

Any chance you can upload photos of the car to this ad?
Is interior reassembled?
For some reason the "Upload Image" button stopped working after the first two photos. I'll try to use the "Insert" tab and "Image" button from the tool-bar. I'll also link Imgur links.
The front. You can see the cut-outs in the hood. I've removed the 'chicken wire' and bolts.

Short video of the interior after some work. I have the dash-pad on, but it's not locked down. It's badly cracked...looks like it went through a few gunfights down in Tombstone over the years. I did purchase a blue dash-cover and that's covering it up at the moment.
Also, I forgot that I don't have the horn button.

Seems you've done al lot of work...very nice. 👍
So; you're asking $2500., and it's located in Georgia or Alabama?
And yes; the photo uploader is a little clunky at times, I've noticed it too.
I forgot to say the interior is mostly complete. I'm missing several screws to lock panels down now that they're repaired. I also forgot to mention that I replaced the hatchback gas-pistons at the same time I replaced the hood-strut.
I found a set of decent gauges and an information center on ebay a few months back, and installed those instead of the original assemblies. If I still have the originals they will be included.
The Corvette is parked in front of home in Phenix City, Alabama. That's a small town located just across the Chattahoochee River from Columbus, Georgia.
I took these a few minutes ago:
