My car is a '87 C4 z51 4 speed car.  It has 114500 on the odometer.  The VIN is 1G1YY2180H5114860.  I’ve owed the car 14 years this spring.  The minor damage reported to carfax a few years ago was a tap at a light in AL on my way to a show. No body work just paint and buff required on the rear bumper of the car. Still placed at the show!

Just about everything has been upgraded or replaced since I’ve owned the car..  It is one of only 1594 Corvettes from 87 that were built with the z51 package making it somewhat rare.  The package included an oil cooler, dual cooling fans, heavy duty front and rear sway bars, tighter turning radius, 3.08 performance axle with the Doug Nash 4+3 manual trans with overdrive.   The interior is redone in red and charcoal grey leather code correct for 87, new graphite grey carpeting, custom embroidered mats and custom back hatch mat.  All rubber and seals have been replaced and like new.  Brake and tire modifications include Slotted rotors, high performance pads, stainless braided brake lines,  larger 17 x 9-1/2 front and 18 x 10-1/2 rear chrome Motorsport c-5 z06 style wheels mounted on Bridgestone Potenza tires.   Trans was rebuilt with new gears, new clutch, short throw linkage and shifter with Hurst knob.  Overdrive button is relocated to the console.  Car has new radiator, water pump, and hoses, new master cylinder, ceramic coated headers with a custom full dual performance exhaust exiting to Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers with dual chrome resonator tips. Also replaced the Bilstein shocks all around, added a Petronix High output coil, street runner chip, K& N air intake with open air box. I took the top half of engine down to replace all gaskets. Engine compartment is spotless and has embroidered inserts inside the hood.  The body is stock, I added a boomerang style rear wing that is very hard to find and not manufactured any more, custom front ground effect splitter style spoiler, bubble lens tail lights, carbon fiber look stripes, and a new glass removable top.There are many detail items in chrome and stainless throughout the car.  The underside is clean with no damage.

I’ll never get everything I have put in it out of it but it is a show winner and is cruise ready.  I hate to sell it as it still is a blast to drive but we have downsized and I don’t have room currently.  If you are interested in a car ready to enjoy contact me to discuss further.
