Hi everyone! I am having to replace the injectors in my 1989 C4, and am asking if anyone could recommend a good set of replacements for this 'Vette. I just want to go back with a stock replacement so I don't have to do any mods to the ECM. Any tips or suggestions?

Vette(s): 1985 Coupe-L98/Auto,Bright Red/Carmine.
1974 Coupe-L48/4speed, Medium Red Metallic/Black Deluxe.
I bought a set of Acell infectors for my '85 when I replaced them. So far, no problems.

I also bought a set of Bosch flow matched injectors from Jon at FIC. Dealer wanted $1600 for 8 while Jon provided rebuilt injectors at a much more reasonable cost.
They solved my problems, and the car is running strong, and I think better than before the replacement injectors. Maybe it is just a good idaea to replace them every 20 years or so?
Jon will provide exactly what you need, trust him, I did and am happy!
Thanks for all the tips, guys. I got hooked up on a set of Bosch III injectors from FIC, and got them installed, and now my car starts, but only runs for about 3 or 4 seconds, then stops. I guess I have another problem. Does anyone else have any experience with this one? All help is appreciated.
Is there any codes showing ? This is where you need to start to trouble shoot.
This sounds like it might be the ignition control module. ICM. ....... maybe.
Just an update for anyone who might still be following this post. I replaced the injectors, changed the oil and filter, replaced the spark plugs, cleared the ECM, and got the car to start with a great deal of difficulty. After I drove it fir a short distance, it lost power and stalled. When I tried to start it, it backfired through the intake, and caught the air filter on fire, and wouldn't start any more after that. After I had it hauled back home, I checked the cam and distributor timing and all seems to be well there. Now I really don't know where to go next. I have a mechanic who is going to come out and try to diagnose it as soon as the weather here permits. Thanks guys.
