I saw some spirited discussions on this in the forum, however at least over 6 months old. I have a 1986. I am having a Vortex Rammer Cold Air system and a high flow Throttle body air foil added to car. Seems like the next area to look at may be exhaust ( looking to pick up HP on a daily driver). Looking hard at the Corsa system. Any feedback from group (good or bad) would help clinch the decision. If not Corsa any other recomendations?

i bought my exhaust system from 2 different places on ebay. y pipes and low back pressure cat came from one and the rear y pipe and mufflers came from another. cost me about $600 that way compared to over $1200 at the parts store.

How does it sound? I am hoping for more of a growl on acceleration, but not enough to draw the attention of Johny law. What brand on the muffler? Thanks

don't remember the brand muffler right now. for me it sounds great. has a great rumble to it when it idles. wife complains it's too loud so you know it's good. not too loud to shatter any eardrums. had a biker come up to me and compliment me on the sound.

I have a Corsa on my 95 and consider it one of my best car investments. They are pricey, but absolutely no resonance (as opposed to the Flowmaster I had that made my head pound
). Great sound at idle and really growls at WOT. Breeze to install (on your back if doing yourself), no modifications (perfect fitament) lifetime warranty, all stainless, looks great. Best part (I swear), it seemed to develop a little more of a deep rumble at idle after about 5K miles, makes the cam lope sound better. Neighbors don't complain when I rumble up the street, so life is good.

Increase in HP, can't answer, probably some for sure and you could get arguments for days about cost per hp gained.
Any problems on emmissions testing?

Thanks for the input I decided to go with the Corsa. I am having a bunch of work done and added this to list yesterday. Shop called this morning to let me know it had arrived. ( Can't install on own as I had bypass surgery recently and can not lift more that 10lbs). Thanks
