2009 did rot for the c4's as mine got hit. 2010 much better as i got mine back fixed and completely repainted. feels great driving it again. i am a little biased as i do own a c3 too and wish i owned a c2 but IMO as long as it is a corvette it has to be great.
wish they banned any corvettes from going to the clunkers program but as was said those people were not true corvette people.

So far 2010 has been good so far. It's been good for me because I recently traded my 84 for a dark red on saddle 90 coupe that just turned 39k on the clock. For a 20 year old C4 it's in very good shape. The two previous owners took VERY good care of this Vette. I'll post pics soon.

I just bought and '86 on EBAY and although it needs some work, I refuse to do any until winter. I'm simply having too much fun in the sun now! It looks great from a few feet and most of the electronic things seem to stll be working.
cheers to the c4's mine is an '88 with 21,000 and EVERYTHING works! how many 22 yr old cars on the road can say that? Let alone 0-60 in 5 secs, can cruise the highways at 80+ and get 26mpg with that mush power and style!

There are now fewer C4's at the shows lately so are becoming more of a curiosity. Last Saturday some non-Corvette people were wandering around this all-car show. They were amazed by the original cost shown on my window sticker.
I feel that the early C4's have now stabilized but may still be awhile before they increase in value. But that was my least concern when I ordered my 84 about 7 years before it was built. I wasn't that crazy about the C3's but learned from Vette Vues that a new generation would be coming in 1983. Told my hometown dealer to put me at the top of his list for the new model. I ended up with my buddy's 1980 when he passed and I still don't care for the design.
I have 4 Corvettes from 4 different generations and they all have their own character. Just take pride in what you have and enjoy them. I plan to take the 84 to Vettes on the Rockies this week-end and have a good time.
I would love to show the work being done on my C4 but for some reason I cannot get them uploaded. If you want to see my baby and the work being done, my facebook page is NoadiahM@aol.com. You can go into my pic and pull up the Vet restoration. I am excited about the work and cannot wait until I can drive it around and show it off!
C4 ever MY 85 has 148000 plus on the clock there have been a few changes; 383 crate, TKO600, C5 Z51 brakes and so on but it still gets 24 MPG and will make you wet when you kick in the butt.
