Will be so nice to get the C4 back out soon. I'm insuring from March 1 to get the better rate rather than April 1 -- We may even get some good days in March -- hopeful anyway.

Looking forward to another season with my '94 and doing a few mods including a Corsa Exhaust, a manual cooling fan control, a transmission oil cooler to help with cooling duties, installing my new lip spoiler that I purchased from Joe here at C4 registry -- hi Joe, new suspension bushings to replace the original rubbers that must need replacing, and maybe some other cosmetic things.......

The more I know about this C4 the more I like it and am sorely tempted to keep it.....

Not much activity here over the winter months, and understandably so, but I am looking forward to chatting with many of you in the upcoming season and seeing you at the odd car show.

Patiently waiting for spring,

Colin. in Cambridge. ON

The past few days, it's been sunny and 70s here.  Our rains are coming, though.  But, it'll still be warm enough and okay to drive the vettes.  I hope your cruisin' weather comes sooner rather than later.  Oh, and I'm looking to get new suspension bushings sometime soon, as well.  Mine are the originals, too.

Hey Laurie -- Must be nice being in sunny  Cali -- One of my dreams is to drive the PCH in your 'golden state'. I've heard so much about it and seen countless pics --

"70's" sounds heavenly right about now with a forecast of -20's for the next week here in southern Ontario.

It'll pass and we'll get our 'vette season back again I'm sure.

Bushing's in the suspension will make the C4 ride much better....will be nice to get that done too.

All the best Laurie.... enjoy that sunshine -- If you get too much, then send it our way. We'd love it.Smile

Cheers,
 Colin. (in the frozen north).

Colin, I echo on to your wishing for that elusive Spring 2014! Here in Central New York  Lake Ontario just keeps dumping snow on us and the "Polar Vortex" just won't back off. The Ground Hog this year was spot on as the winter months just keep on a com'n. Passing through the garage the other day I peaked under the cover just to make sure my vette was still there, and confirm the color that I remembered. The long range forecast is predicting more of the same cold and snow but we keep hoping (and I know hope is not a strategy) that the weather will warm so I may once again hear the solid vibrant sound of that 350 and enjoy the 3000 lbs. of fiberglass strapped to my butt.

I have 30" of snow in my yard and temps STILL below zero, my heated storage is paid throuh April 1st - I'm expecting that I''l be extending this year...

...but I have a new set of Bilsteins ready to install.  Also planning to addd some braided brake lines (track days/autocross) - I have ceramic pads - I may look at some better rotors - I know I'm asking a lot of this, clean, well cared for stock 92 but it was made to be driven!

I'm still smiling from last years pass of a new GT40 going into "fast" turn 1 at Brainerd...OK so it wasn't Dan Gurney driving the GT40, but still!  YeeHa!!!

Here in Vegas, the temp dropped into the 40's for a day or two about a month ago... winter's gone... My roses are in full bloom and summer will be here in a few days. The C4 is having many days in the sunshine.

Life is Great... (working on a 'Vette)

Good, there's still some activity here -- I knew some of you guys and gals didn't hibernate.......tempting as that may have been this year.......

As bad as we have it here in Southern Ontario, we're disturbed to see it much worse south of here and along the eastern seaboard. Unusual for sure and I wish you all well and a quick recovery from all the nasty weather and a quick warm-up to spring.
At least it's so-called spring in about 3 weeks -- let's hope Mother Nature checks her calendar and gives us what we so need (and deserve) .....

Keep the faith folks -- I've got a gut feeling we might have a warm, and beautiful spring in time with the season.

Yes, hope isn't a good strategy, but when it's all you have ....................... Smile

Looking forward to chatting and seeing some great cars.

I've got some mods on the go for spring (Exhaust, bushings, manual fan control, and tranny cooler) -- as many of you do, so let's all think positively -- also not a good strategy but it sure won't hurt.

Stay safe and warm folks --

Colin.

Vette(s): Purchased a 1986 Convert August 2013, Bright Red color with a black top, it'd already received a Tremec 5 speed upgrade along with a disc upgrade prior to purchase.
Spring can't come soon enough for me.  I can't even get the Vette or T-Bird out of the garage due to the 4"-6" ruts in the snow and ice in the alley.  It's been too cold to even work on the car, it was -12 again this morning and more snow predicted for the next couple of days.
I'm sick of winter, anyone know how to do a Spring Dance (variation of a Rain Dance)?

Heard this winter has been the 9th worst on record, and they started recording around 1890!

Someone really ticked off Mother Nature, and I'd like to know who.
