Vette(s): 1962 340hp 4 speed, 1966 327, 350hp 4 speed coupe, 1978 L82 4 speed, and 1996 LT4- CE six speed
Been a vette owner since 1962. Have had a 1966 327, 350hp four speed coupe, a 1978, L82, four speed. I was disapointed in the 78 for lack of hp. It was a pretty car. It took me a few years to get interested in them again. I am now a owner of of a 1996 LT4 CE, and it is back to the good old days. The 62 was a 340hp, 4 speed, and it was a blast. I could afford to buy a new model, but I just love the looks of the C4. I predict it will be a classic like the mid years. I am a gearhead and I like working on them, even at my age. (73). Save the wave. Larry

I just like black vettes....American Muscle!
The 96 C4 was a great buy and an efficient highway car for vacations and running my amp and guitar around from town to town.

i had always wanted a corvette. i got my 75 as a 30 year anniversary present from my wife (now you can see why i married her) and got my 90 as my 53rd birthday present (now you see why i stay married to her). i use my 90 as my dd and the 75 goes to a lot of cruise shows around here. if i ever got a 63-67 vette i'd **** and i would be on the top of the world.

I bought my 2 vettes so I can beat CFI-EFI on a regular basis
Bought mine after my divorce in '96. Paid cash for it.

Didn't realize I made good money until after my divorce was over

Was going to use it as a stepping stone to the next sports car (whatever that might be), but hung on to it.
The car is original, fully documented with original car keys and owners manual.
I've won three national vette shows with it.
My dream started just like this picture. (except I can't get pictures to load for the life of me)
A teacher had a red and white 61 or so and I remeber staring inside for about an hour looking at all the cool stuff after school one day. I have been a corvette guy ever since.
This is my 4th Corvette you just can't beat the fun factor

The reason that I have my C4 is due to my wife, who while walking around Carlisle several years ago saw it and liked it, the rest is history. A couple years later we purchased our 98 coupe. When I found my 04 Z and was able to purchase it the deal was we sell the 98. That never happened as she could not part with it. So I guess its all my wife's fault.
