There are no medals depicted on the logo. They are in fact Battle Ribbons. The upper one is US Army. The lower is Republic of Vietnam Campaign. If you were there you would know that, if you weren't, you don't have them and should not display them. Military rules.

Actually not true nothing to do with the Army, I was in the Air Force and awarded both ribbons. The top one is the Vietnam Service ribbon and the bottom is Vietnam Campaign ribbon.

Hi there black95' I too was drafted in '72 did all my time stateside but I consider myself no less a vet than anyone else Iam proud of the fact that I went while others I knew burned their draft cards or went to Canada or where excused for some political bull****t reason
I joined the USMC in 1968 and served state side
for four years. I wanted to but was not allowed to serve in a combat zone because my MOS was top secret. I made a contribution to the war effort.
Where did this distinction come from?? Viet Nam veteran and Viet Nam era veteran. I never heard of a world war II era veteran or a WWI era veteran or a Korean era Veteran.
Not everyone in country fought but they are considered to be Viet Nam vetrans

- Served on active duty for more than 180 days and served in the Republic of Vietnam between February 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975.
