Hi all,

I was replacing lcd polariser and had dash out. This clip came off from somewhere and I am not sure where it goes.

Waiting of FSM, but not sure that will tell me. Any ideas?
Thanks

Looks like a ground buss connector plug. Ground buss is simply a point for the harness to connect several grounds together. The plug is just to keep crap out of the connector, and to keep folks from trying to plug something into it that doesn't belong. I would bet if you looked, you would find a flat connector hanging behind the cluster with nothing plugged into it.

Hi there.  Just joined and noticed your post. That clip is from one of the two cables that plug into the instrument display. It plugs into the wire connector itself, to hold the individual wires into the plug.  You'll notice that the number of prongs in it equal the number of pins in the connector. It plugs into the wire side of the connector to hold the pins in place within the connector.  Without it, there is a chance that the wires will come out of the connector. You may want to disassemble the dash as if you're removing the display and just push it into the connector.  You'll see a similar item in the other connector right beside it.

Have fun!
