I keep several catalogs.  You never know when you need stuff for the corvette.

So, I look up 5 things I need at this one supplier in Florida.  The 5 parts come to $547 without shipping costs.  One item the shipping cost is an additional $89. Total with shipping was $667.

I look up the same 5 items from a supplier in Michigan, those same exact 5 items comes to $331 including shipping.

Guess who I went with?

:)

If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....

Wow - half the price from one vendor to another?  That's really something.  I always try to shop around a little before buying, and doing so sure paid off for you.

Let me guess. C C over Eklers. They go more for specific little parts I think than C C or midAmerica.  I buy all my things from C C. IF I see something priced less in an other catolog C C will match itThumbs Up

I dunno.... I've always been treated well with "Nally's" and "GmDirect"... Including those pesky little "Cotter Key" type pins for securing the hood struts. Barb had to "hit" me with the paddles after I saw the price... But at least they had'em...

Ordered a new car cover from CC on Sunday and received it yesterday (Tuesday), can't beat that for service, the price was good and the quality is great.

I buy my parts online from several different vendors.  As others have said, it pays to shop around.  One thing I have noticed is that inflation is rearing its ugly head in the Corvette parts business.  The online price (the most up to date) is sometimes higher than what shows in the paper catalogs.   Fortunately, some offer free shipping at various times.
