Hello.....I have a line on a 1 owner since new till this month....1986 Convert Vette, RED/ RED Wht top....503 miles....PERFECT in every way. All original, Gator Backs....etc. Purchase cont, build sheets, msrp, everything. Calif car entire life....registered the first year only....sat in a museum/collection since new...but was maintained. . Orig Cal blu/gold paltes......not a mark on her. WHAT IS IT WORTH????? any help would be much appreciated. CLEAR TITLE of course......Thank you.......David, Additional info.....Orig msrp was $35,824 and it's an automatic...about $3,000 in added factory options.

It's worth what 1) someone is willing to offer and 2) what the seller is willing to accept.
Remember, even though it's low mileage, there's a good chance many seals and things like tires have deteriorated just due to age. I suspect there will be alot of startup maintenance on ithis one. Additionally, in some states you have to buy all 'missed' plates and pay a fine/fee to do that too so it can add up to a large amount of $$. Figure it will take tires, seals in the engine, tranny and differential for a start. Could also include things like relays and wiring too.
Unless you're a collector (which it doesn't sound like you are), an exceptional 86 probably would go for over $10K, but even that's relative.

Using your description of the car: It puts the value using Hagerty's price guide tool at around $15k.to 18K, for a number one car.
