Vette(s): Black 1979 L-82
Black 1996 LT1
Black 1999 Coupe
Minus the dyno, and a lap-top...I want to know what programs are available to tune LT1's, 4's, and 5's.
Two dyno's in town here, one does NOT tune...just does runs...the other only does LSx cars.
I have to drive to Baton Rouge for my 96 LT1 (a little over 70 miles).
Since Impala's, Camaro's, Firebirds, Vette's, ect... use the LTx motors, I am wondering what programs are available.
I have a lap-top to dedicate and my buddy has a new dyno, and the probe/unit for checking air fuel ratio's at the exhaust.
I want to be the guy that adjusts like PCM for less, only doing it on a dyno using real-time/live performance numbers while under a load.
I do understand ther will be different cables for different models, makes, and years.
I just dont want to get a program that is just limited to wheel size, speed-0 limits, rev limits, tranny shifts, ect... like a hand-held tuner.
I want to adjust air/fuel, knock sensor, Idle. timing, ect...
I need facts.
Thanks,
Jim
