The last six digits begin at 100001 and run thru 120536, accounting for each of the 20,536 Corvette Coupes/Convertibles built in 1996. Additionally, 1,000 Grand Sport Corvettes were also built in 1996.

Vette(s): 1985 Coupe-L98/Auto,Bright Red/Carmine.
1974 Coupe-L48/4speed, Medium Red Metallic/Black Deluxe.
A VIN of 06403 puts it more towards the beginning of production for '96. Check the production date on the sticker on the driver door....it will give you the month of production...

Thanks guys.
I am in Australia and wanted to know a bit more about the car.
It is white and has decals commemorating the last C4 June 21st 1996 on the fenders.
Does anyone kno how many like this were prodcued?

Like this one? Only ONE "Last C4"....and this is it. There might also be a "Last C4 Convertible", but I'm not sure about that. If you have, or have found another '96 with decals like this, then the decals were made, and applied to a different car...but it ain't the "Last" one, unless it has this particular VIN. Unless something has changed recently, this particular car is still owned by Mike Yager.

The decal is the same, but different VIN. My VIN is as at the start of the thread.
I was just interested to know more about it as its a limited edition I take it with the ZR1 wheels, decals etc.

Sorry about the size lol but this is my car.
Does anyone know how many were made like this?

I would venture to say that the decal you have on your car has been created by an other former owner. A copy of the last C4 decal and put in your Vin number. I am not aware of any other corvettes getting the sticker you show, other that the Yager owned car.

The decal on the car that Mike has was made by Mid America, afaik....
The one on your car is neat, but it is NOT a factory, or special order deal. It's something that someone has made, and installed. I don't think Mid Am ever offered the decal for sale.

I sure hope you did not buy the car with the understanding that it was the "Last" C4....
