Hey guys. I'm new to the registry. I got my 93 last year on Valentines Day and my wife promptly named her Sweetie by proclaiming ' I guess you got a new Sweetie!' I love my C4. My search was foiled the year before when my wife found a C5 that she thought could be 'our' car. We got it but it soon became 'her' car.
Any way. I'm 65 years old and have always done all my own car repair since I was 18. The vette is no different. One issue I have is the loud 'CLACK' sound my rear glass makes when I open it. It's almost embarrassing at the grocery store. Is there a rubber bumper or something missing on mine?

Believe me, you're better off hearing that loud "thunk" than the alternative. Some are louder than others but they all sound off.
