Hey everyone, I finally got around to doing the paperwork, and getting the Antique Title and License Plate for my '84. For those of you who don't live in PA, the state recently changed the antiique tags to include a picture of a 1920 Oldsmobile on the far left side of the plate. While I have nothing against the 1920 Oldsmobile, I don't think I want a picture of it on the back of my 1984 Corvette. I have seen a lot of people at Car Shows in PA who have placed decals or pictures over the '20 Olds on my plate. So my question is.... where can I find a Chevy or Corvette decal (or even an American Flag) decal to put on my tag and cover the '20 Olds? Approximate size of the decal I need is the size of a horizontally placed iPhone 4. Can be wider, but not taller.
Here is a link to the picture of the plate, if you want to see what I mean:

actually the plate doesn't look that bad but they should realize not everyone has their father's oldsmobile
. american flag decals are sold all over the place. maybe one of our sponsors has a corvette decal you can use. just thought that maybe you can pick up a front emblem or gas door emblem and attach it too the plate. just a thought. let us know how you make out.

Would the plate still be legal if you "modify" it by placing a decal over the offending turd...er..vehicle? I see one there that has a Mazda decal on it.
My only concern would be getting stopped by some hot headed cop that's having a bad day....and then getting my plate confiscated. State trooper tried it one time on a car I was drivin....didn't work out too well for him, but it certainly was a major pain for me for several hours.
Just throwing that out there in case you wanna check into that before "desecrating" a state issued plate.....
Otherwise, are you in a local Corvette club? Perhaps a club decal would be kewl....
