screws or bolts brackets

Vette(s): 1984 base coupe 17,000 miles all original. very low production number.red on red 3853. pro num.
hey does anyone know what color the screws or bolts the hold on the rear lic plate to the bracket?  also in the front on the bumper is there a bracket the holds the front lic plate on? I'm in Ohio by law, i have to run front and rear plates.  even though my plates are  historical.

I don't about the front plate in florida we don't have front plates, but the back are torx screws with washers. They are black. You can get them from ecklers corvettes.

if you were to purchase an NCRS judging guide for your year C4...you would be overwhelmed at the info you would have at  your fingertips...not saying it is the get all with data but I'd bet it's 95% or better with regards to accuracy.....I refer to mine quite often for anything thats not in the "black book"....IMHO it's well worth the $$ spent...plus its cool to read how these cars came off the assembly line and then seeing how "original" your car still may be......
