LOL, I'll keep ya company with my Ford Laurie -- My Taurus is the big brother of your Fusion.

so that makes 2 bow-ties and a blue oval for me.

I would have sold the 95.

Who in their right mind after making a comparison would want the better ride, handling, brakes, interior comfort, and higher performance of a 95 over an 85?

Sorry to hear it went away, Lauri. I have a soft spot for 85's, and while I've owned other C4's during the same time I've owned the 85, its the only Corvette I've retained .  I'm not particularly attached to the car itself, I seldom drive it, and don't really enjoy driving it when I do because I don't want it to get damaged.

I have an emotional attachment to it because of the way I came to purchase it new in 85, and therefor it will never be sold. Of the 7 cars I currently own, the 85 is the only car that has instructions for disposition spelled out for it in my will. Several of my cars, including a 70 SS 396 I purchased 41 years ago, are worth substantially more than the 85, but the 85 is the only one I care about what happens to it if something happens to me.

I'm not an emotional guy. But to keep my emotions at bay, I will never let it go. Some things ARE "forever".

PS: I luv my Super Duty pick-up. I've owned a crap-ton of GM cars, but only Ford trucks. There's many reasons Ford outsells GM in full size pick-ups.
