i'm getting ready to install my new targa top from astro tops. they sent me directions on the install, however i don't understand what there saying.has anyone installed one before. it said not to over tighten the mounting bolts. it could cause the top to crack. any sugestions. please help. thanks

the four bolts in the corners that secure the top to the vehicle....just "snug" them up...don't CRANK on the wrench or you'll put unneeded torque at the corners of your new top.....

Vette(s): '84 Crossfire catback exhaust and drop-in K&N two-tone grey
Fasten the two bolts that go into the rear headliner first. Then do the two front ones. That I, believe, is the official way.
