Vette(s): 1984 base coupe 17,000 miles all original. very low production number.red on red 3853. pro num.
correction on my post , how far does the top go back towards the roof panel, mine is about 1/4 of an inch forward

Hey Jonney.....It just so happens that I measured mine before and after popping the top for the first time this summer to be sure I set it back in correct. Mine was very close to 1/4" too. Maybe just a small bit shy of that but your sounds OK.

That's what mine is as well....looking at it reminds me I want to change the B-pillar weatherstriping. It's starting to look shabby
