1994 corvette Brake System Warning Light on only when press brakes

Vette(s): 1994 coupe, 4 speed automatic - electric shift

All searches re: the light being on only relate to being on all the time, not only when pressing the brakes.  The fluid is full and the cap is tight.  Any ideas,   thanks   Bob
