just put in susp. bushing kit from prothane. And it is a nite and day difference. I would recommend that if you are thinking about buying the kit online DO IT. it was easy to install and makes a world of difference. It made the car feel like it ris riding on rails. Just thought I would share. maybe help others to make this choice.

Urethane bushings was one of the first things I did some years back and I thought it made big difference too. Even now, there's no suspension squeaks at all. If you did the whole kit, you found out some of them are easier to do than others. Getting the pucks out of the rear diff was a challenge.

LT motors have the same motor mount bolt pattern as any other SBC but since they don't bolt to the frame, you have to fab the vertical part of the mount from the cross member up to the new mount. The nice thing is you can make it a little height adjustable and I dropped mine down at least half an inch so the pan is nicely clearing the cross member.

the old bushings were in really bad shape. only had to cut one of the strut bar bushings out the rest fell out thats how bad they were. the trailing arm rear bushings were so bad that the bolt was almost against the side. when I was done the ride height was even different. my baby was in bad shape but I'm bringing her back.
