I have an 84 with 111,000 miles on it, there is a very annoying pop and squeak in the front end.   This happens when you go slow down a some what bumpy road and also when you turn the corner.   I have checked everything under the front, control arms are tight, bushings are good, has new shocks, new sway bar and linkage bushings, ball joints have been replaced.   It sounds as if it is coming from the leaf spring.  The leaf spring looks good no cracks or damage that I can see.   Any and all help is appreciated.
