I have the original 'turbine' wheels on my '86 vert and was looking for some tips on removing curb rash and dings. I would love to be able to put them on a turret lathe and take a few thousands of an inch off. I've seen polished wheels but the lose the distinctive factory finish.

Also, if anyone knows of a good source for buying aftermarket repro ZR1 wheels for early C4s with the proper back-spacing (i.e., no need for separate spacers), please let me know. Watched one of the TV restoration shows and they bought all parts, including wheels, from the same catalog and didn't need spacers.
